I just noticed I passed 2000 watchers a couple of days ago. You guys are all awesome - thanks so much for the support!

dAgnostic

I recently joined the team at =dAgnostic - a project that helps unknown artists get the attention they deserve through News articles & Journal entries. It was flattering to be asked so thanks must go to the project's creator, =thinking-cursive

Life offline has kept me busy the last couple of months and I'm fully aware I haven't been very productive on dA. If I can use my limited free time to do my part and help others get that all important exposure, well I'll just feel that little bit more satisfied.

:bulletred: So please, add :icondagnostic: to your watch list and you might just be amongst the first to share the discovery of the next big thing on dA. :D

'Låt den rätte komma in'

...aka 'Let the Right One In'.

I bought this movie blind on import DVD a few weeks ago after reading some glowing reviews online. I cannot recommend it enough. A hauntingly beautiful Swedish vampire movie based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

There is talk of a Hollywood remake to be directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield). I urge you to hunt down the original and watch it first. The two child actors who play the leads are fantastic & it has a stunning score.

:bulletred: Has there ever been a Hollywood remake that is better than the original?...

Wacom Intuos4

I'm in love with the new Wacom. Again. If you haven't seen it, check out the official Wacom site for more info.

I'll be replacing my Intuos2 at work in July and if I like it enough, might even replace my Intuos3 at home. :excited:

'Scout out :salute:

DYING to see Let the Right One In!!! Dying!!! :excited::eager:
And now Hollywood want to remake it??? Ah now... Can't they find something original and stop stealing good movies that are made already!!! :shakefist:

"Has there ever been a Hollywood remake that is better than the original?..."

Now that is a good question... I don't know about foreign movies that have been remade but all I can think of really is The Ring remakes and The Grudge but I hated the remakes so I can't use them :XD:

Ocean's Eleven!!! Yeah... Kinda...

Seriously wow I can not think of one... Maybe King Kong. I really did like Peter Jackson's remake :aww:

OH OH!!! The Departed!!! Yes!!! Now that was a brilliant film and remake I thought!!! :aww:

YAY!!! I'm so glad I thought of one!!! YAY!!! But... Better than the original??? I would have to watch the original "Infernal Affairs" again to see. But I think "Departed" might have a good chance at beating the original  in my opinion anyway.

Wasn't The Magnificent Seven a remake of The Seven Samurai of something??? Well I would have to watch The Seven Samurai to compare. Lol!!! :XD: I'm sure there is probably a few movies that are remakes and better than the original but with most of them I haven't seen the original!!! :XD::lmao:

But I mightn't have to wait to long with the rate that Hollywood is remaking all kind of movies. Jebus they would probably remake a movie that's only been out a few days!!!

The remake of this comment is due to be released last week. :sarcasm:

It's a tricky one isn't it. I bought PJ's 'King Kong' on Blu-ray a couple of weeks ago. Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!! :wow:

Tracked down that film on your recommendation, pretty good, but a bit slow maybe.

Can't think of a single good remake of the cuff, but after a bit of research it seems Scarface is a remake. The version we're so familiar with would be hard to beat.
