Partway through 2007 I was feeling very uninspired so decided to do a test - just how quickly could I produce a portrait that I was happy with?...

It turns out - pretty quick!

Speedpainting is a fantastic way to blow off the cobwebs if you're having a slow, unenthusiastic time. Whether it's to practice lighting, use of colour & tone or just to get back into the swing of things, I can highly recommend giving it a try.
