Colouring Inkthinkers Dwarf

Description

The original piece that I'm working from is by the über-awesome *Inkthinker - please visit his gallery and show some appreciation!

As a real beginner in the realms of colouring line-art, this image practically leapt off the screen begging to be coloured. There are so many of Inkthinkers pieces that are perfect for this kind of thing. The depth of detail in the lines is extraordinary. A real joy to work on. I've added a couple of closeups so that you can see what I'm talking about.

Possibly the most fun I've ever had with my pants on... :O_o:

With this one, I'm trying to limit my palette to earthy tones. Usually I just pick any old colour, but this time I'm putting more thought into it. I'm also making use of the Swatches palette to keep a record of the colours I'm using, rather than creating a palette layer as I have in the past.

:bulletred: The finished piece can be found here. :bulletred:
